Steinar Matre currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Aquafarm Equipment AS since September 2018 and has been a Department Manager Subsea at Westcon Group since February 2013. Previously, Matre held the position of Managing Director at Westcon Olvondo AS from October 2017 to July 2021 and worked as a Subsea Commissioning Engineer at A/S Norske Shell from August 2011 to January 2013, leading the subsea commissioning for the Draugen Oil Export Project and overseeing the subsea tie-in for the Ormen Lange Mid-North project. Earlier experience includes being a Project Manager for Troll Oil Subsea Services at GE Oil & Gas from 2010 to July 2011 and working as a Subsea Engineer at GE Vetco Gray from 2004 to 2010.
