Kenwyn Derby

Kenwyn Derby is an experienced professional with a robust background in psychotherapy and educational research. Currently serving as a Psychotherapist at Project Connection since September 2020, Kenwyn also holds a long-term position as a Senior Research Associate at WestEd since June 2002, contributing to significant federally funded initiatives aimed at improving education across several states. Responsibilities at WestEd have included managing needs analysis, researching literature, collaborating with organizations, and engaging with educators and policymakers. Previous experience includes roles as Program Associate at WestEd, Recruiting and Development Manager at Unexplored, Human Resources Analyst for the City of Oakland, Psychology Research Intern at the Salk Institute, and Editor at Arbor Publishing. Kenwyn holds an MSW from the University of Utah, an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Amherst College.
