Tess Davis

Tess Davis currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at WestEd since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Global Internal Communications and Special Initiatives at Abt Associates from June 2014 to August 2022, and Director of Global Visibility at FHI 360 from July 2011 to January 2013. At FHI 360, Tess conceptualized and executed a corporate marketing strategy to enhance organizational visibility and introduce a new brand. Additionally, Tess held the position of Director of Digital Communications at the Academy for Educational Development (AED) from 2003 to February 2012, where responsibilities included developing and executing a corporate communications strategy aligned with AED's nonprofit mission. Tess's early career includes roles such as Marketing Coordinator at Gold's Gym - Venice California and New Media Coordinator at the Academy of Continuing Education Programs. Tess also served on the Board of Directors for Stepwise, focusing on supporting East Africa's youth. Tess is an alumnus of The University of Georgia, holding a degree earned between 1992 and 1996.
