Amelia Hartnett

Amelia Hartnett, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Western Illinois University since March 2009, overseeing various HR functions including employment, talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits. Prior roles at the same institution include Assistant Director of Human Resources, Human Resource Manager, and Human Resource Specialist, among others, where Amelia has developed and implemented HR policies and supervised divisional personnel. Prior to Western Illinois University, Amelia gained administrative experience at the University of Illinois at Chicago as an Administrative Aide to the Chair in the Psychology Department. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Western Illinois University, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management, and multiple degrees in liberal arts and psychology from recognized institutions.
