Paula M. Davis serves as the Associate Vice President for Strategic Communications at Western Michigan University since May 2012, where responsibilities include creating and guiding internal and external communication strategies in collaboration with university leadership. Prior to this role, Paula held several positions at the Kalamazoo Gazette from 1998 to 2012, including Editor of WMU Magazine and Director of Strategic Communications, as well as working as a journalist reporting on the largest school systems in Kalamazoo County. Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Wayne State University.
