Sanyu M.

Sanyu M. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and international relations. Currently serving as the Director of Operations in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer and as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Provost at Western Sydney University since June 2023, Sanyu previously held the position of Faculty Engagement Manager at Macquarie Business School for a brief period in early 2023. Over nearly eight years at Macquarie University, Sanyu progressed through roles such as Executive Manager of Engagement, Executive Officer in the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor (International), Associate Director of International Relations, and International Strategic Partnerships Manager. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Policy and Communications Advisor for the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative, a Senior Consultant at africapractice, and a Foreign Policy Advisor and Diplomat at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
