Shane Griffin

Shane Griffin currently serves as the Director of Teaching & Research Technical Services and Director of Technical Support Services at Western Sydney University, a position held since October 2017. With a decade of experience in HPLC, HPLC/MS, GC, and GC/MS, Shane has a strong technical background, having previously been a Technical Manager at the same university from 2008 to 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Laboratory Manager at Eli Lilly and Company from 2004 to 2008 and Technical Officer at Novartis from 2000 to 2004. In addition to academic and technical roles, Shane is the owner of Poupichou Press, an independent online Science Fiction publisher operational from 2011 to 2022, where most works are available for free. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Western Sydney University.
