Dr. Larue A. Pierce

Dr. LaRue A. Pierce currently serves as the Vice President for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Westfield State University since July 2022. With a robust background in student affairs and community outreach, Dr. Pierce has dedicated nearly two decades to enhancing the development of youth and young adults through various initiatives at ThrivED. Previous roles include Dean of Students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students at Springfield Technical Community College, and Director of Student Affairs at Sinclair Community College. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and a K12 Education Administration Principal Certificate from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, complemented by a Police Reserve Certificate from the Western Massachusetts Police Academy.
