Mark Murphy

Mark Murphy is an experienced professional currently serving as a Porter at Lexus of Chattanooga since March 2023. With a strong background in lifeguarding, Mark has held multiple positions including Head Lifeguard at the City of Chattanooga since May 2016, and Lifeguard at both Ocoee Retreat Center & Camps and Westgate Resorts since their respective starts in May 2021 and September 2016. Mark's volunteer work with the American Red Cross since September 2014 focuses on aquatics and support for veterans. Previous roles include Assistant at St Alexius Outreach Ministry and Shipboard Lifeguard at Magical Cruise Company, along with various general labor positions. Mark holds an MDiv in Urban Missions from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a BA in English and Creative Writing from Washington College, among other educational achievements.
