Eric Karns has a diverse work experience in the field of archaeology and environmental services. Eric started their career in 2010 as a Contract Archaeologist/Historic Preservation Specialist at AECOM, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they joined Blanton & Associates as a Contract Archaeologist until 2014. From 2008 to 2015, they served as a Contract Archaeologist at PaleoWest Archaeology. In 2015, they transitioned to Logan Simpson as a Field Archaeologist, a role they held for seven years until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Crew Chief at WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services.
Eric Karns attended Arizona State University where they studied Anthropology and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008.
