Andrew Reed

Andrew Reed has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Andrew is currently serving as the Chapter Lead - Engineering at Westpac New Zealand, where they utilize the Power Platform for business services. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Developer at Finzsoft Solutions Limited. Andrew also held the position of Development Manager - Integration at SKY TV New Zealand, where they focused on technical leadership, mentoring, software architecture, and HR functions. Andrew has also worked at Finzsoft Solutions and Wright Express NZ as a Senior Java Developer and Java Development Team Lead, respectively. Andrew has gained valuable experience in various roles, including IT Specialist at Finzsoft Solutions Limited, Analyst/Programmer at AUT, Developer at Financial Automation Limited, Analyst Programmer at WorldCom, Chelsea Computer Consultants, and Contract Developer at Countrywide Bank.

Andrew Reed obtained their Bachelor of Management Systems (BMS) degree from The University of Waikato, where they attended from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including being a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert and a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate in 2021.
