Chris Marshall

Chris Marshall is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software and integration design. As a Principal Engineer at Westpac New Zealand since November 2020, Chris has contributed technical expertise and leadership. Prior roles include Integration Designer at Bank of New Zealand, where responsibilities involved architectural patterns and the creation of reusable building blocks. Previously, as a Senior Programming Analyst at ANZ, Chris led Java development for Internet Banking applications. Experience as a Senior Developer/Solution Architect at Fronde involved Mule development and solution architecture consultancy, while earlier roles included Java development for the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and application migration for Wellington City Council. Chris began a career as an IT Specialist at IBM New Zealand Ltd, focusing on Java development. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
