Evan Irish

Evan Irish is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in accounting and accounts payable leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Accounts Payable at WestRock Company since May 2009, Evan is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable shared services team, ensuring efficient processing of supplier invoices, vendor inquiries, and corporate program management. Previous roles at WestRock include Senior Manager of Accounts Payable Operations, Integration Lead, and Corporate Accounting Manager, contributing to significant projects such as the relocation of shared services and the implementation of automation strategies. Prior to WestRock, Evan held positions at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, focusing on accounting management and SEC reporting. Evan earned a B.A. in Accounting from Hope College in 2001.
