Chief Operating Engineer at Weyerhaeuser

Dan MacNeil began their work experience in the year 2000 as a Power Engineer at Weyerhaeuser. Dan then transitioned to a role as a Third Class Assistant Shift Engineer in 2002, followed by a promotion to Second Class Shift Engineer in 2007. In 2012, they became a First Class Operating Engineer at the same company. In 2014, they joined Methanex Corporation as a Relief Supervisor First Class Operating Engineer and later took on the position of Utilities Engineer. MacNeil returned to Weyerhaeuser in 2018 as the Chief Operating Engineer.

Dan MacNeil attended Confederation College from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a Technical Certificate in Power Engineering. In addition to their education, they also hold an ABSA Inservice Pressure Equipment Certificate from the Alberta Boilers Safety Association, which was obtained in 2023.
