Samir Khoury

Samir Khoury, CFE, currently serves as the Supervising Senior Internal Auditor at Weyerhaeuser since July 2023. Previously, Samir held the position of Assistant Director at the University of Washington's Equipment Inventory Office, where responsibilities included establishing internal controls over operations, leading staff, managing fiscal year-end accounting entries, and developing policies in compliance with regulatory requirements. Samir's experience also encompasses planning and conducting audits at the University of Washington Internal Audit department and the Washington State Auditor's Office, where investigative procedures on fraud cases were a focus. Samir holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Washington Bothell and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Edmonds Community College.
