Sean Cheeseman has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and forest industry. Sean started their career in 1999 as a Forest Engineer at Western Forest Products. In 2000, they joined Weyerhaeuser and held various management roles, including Operations Management and Operations Manager from 2000 to 2012. Sean then served as the Maintenance & Reliability Manager from 2012 to 2014, and as the Manufacturing Manager from 2014 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Mill Manager, and from 2017 to 2020, they served as the Mill Manager at Weyerhaeuser. In February 2020, they were promoted to the position of Vice President of Manufacturing Engineered Wood Products at Weyerhaeuser.
Sean Cheeseman holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Forest Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. Additionally, they have obtained a Certificate in Reliability, with a focus on Maintenance and Reliability, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
