Edward Orzech is a producer at WFMY News 2 since May 2023 and has been a staff writer for The Miami Student since March 2021, where Edward covers various sports, including football, hockey, volleyball, and softball. As a writing contributor for SportsTalkATL.com, Edward focuses on articles analyzing the Atlanta Braves. Edward also completed a sports management internship at Miami University in early 2022, assisting with event creation and management. Additionally, Edward contributed to The Oxford Observer, writing on topics such as food, history, and sports. Edward graduated from Miami University in May 2023 with a degree in journalism and history.

Viewers see our WFMY News 2 team in the public throughout the year participating in events to help the community. Our Food 2 Families event collects tens of thousands of pounds of food each year to feed the hungry. Our Tools for Schools project provides 30,000+ students per year with basic supplies to help them succeed in school. We believe in serving the people of the Triad and this belief truly governs the decisions we make as a local information center.
