Sean Higgins is an experienced professional in the media industry with a background in content coordination, photojournalism, and sports reporting. Currently serving as an Innovative Content Coordinator at WFMY News 2 since January 2016, Sean has developed expertise in creating engaging media content. Prior to this role, Sean worked at Redeye Worldwide from May 2015 to April 2016 as a Shipper and Order Picker, and at TGI Fridays as a Bartender from July 2014 to August 2015. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earned between 2011 and 2015.

WFMY News 2 is a station that focuses on serving the community. With every story we cover on the air and online at www.wfmynews2.com, our goal is to Get Answers for our viewers and users. Viewers see our WFMY News 2 team in the public throughout the year participating in events to help the community. Our Food 2 Families event collects tens of thousands of pounds of food each year to feed the hungry. Our Tools for Schools project provides 30,000+ students per year with basic supplies to help them succeed in school. We believe in serving the people of the Triad and this belief truly governs the decisions we make as a local information center.
