Sarah Vest

Sarah Vest is an experienced broadcast professional with a strong background in news production. Currently serving as Executive Producer at WFXR since October 2021, Sarah oversees the nightside shift and produces newscasts and special segments. Previously, Sarah worked as a Producer at WCNC-TV from July 2019 to September 2021 and held the position of News Producer at Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. in early 2016. Sarah's early career includes roles as Managing Editor at Concordian Student Newspaper, where responsibilities included newspaper design and layout, as well as assignments, deadline enforcement, and copy editing. Additionally, Sarah has experience as a Board Operator at West Virginia Radio Corporation and Southern Communications, focusing on live production and contest production. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Concord University, earned in 2015.
