Katia Ariyan

Katia Ariyan has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Katia started their career at DCIT as a Communications Intern in December 2015 and worked there until May 2016. In 2017, they joined Ignited Voices as a Media and Events Coordinator and volunteered at Paros Foundation for a short period. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Chapter Advisor and Regional Committee Member at the Armenian Youth Federation Eastern Region. In 2018, they had internships at Gunpowder & Sky as a Theatrical Marketing Intern, AGBU as an Intern, and Michael Aram, Inc as a Visual and Communications Intern. In 2019, they worked at Jigsaw Productions as a Production Intern. Katia then went on to work at What Do You Meme? as a Comedy, Content, and Partnerships Intern from 2019 to 2020. Katia later became a Marketing + Content Strategist at the same company from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of a Senior Content + Marketing Strategist at What Do You Meme?. In 2021, they also joined TikTok as a Content Creator with over 30k followers.

Katia Ariyan completed their education from 2016 to 2020. Katia attended Barnard College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Katia'smajor was in English and Film Studies, and they had a concentration in Creative Writing. Additionally, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Columbia University during the same period, with the same majors and concentration.
