Whatcom Museum
Elizabeth Moore is the Digital Marketing and Administration Manager at Whatcom Museum, where responsibilities include overseeing digital strategies since March 2022. Prior to this role, Elizabeth was the Owner and Project Manager at 90 Degree Construction LLC, successfully managing home renovation projects from start to finish between January 2019 and May 2020. Elizabeth also held various positions at Scotty Browns Restaurants from January 2009 to July 2019, including Manager, where efforts were focused on enhancing operational efficiency and customer relations, and Server, dedicated to training restaurant staff. Additionally, Elizabeth served as the Social Media Manager at SSG Music from January 2013 to January 2014, creating content and managing engagement. Academically, Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Western Washington University and studied French Language and Culture at Université Paris-Sorbonne.

Whatcom Museum
Established in 1941, the Whatcom Museum serves more than 70,000 people a year and has hosted more than 700 world-class art and regional history exhibitions throughout the last 77 years. From nationally touring shows, including National Geographic’s 50 Greatest Photographs, Mingled Visions: Images from The North American Indian by Edward S. Curtis, to our own home-curated exhibitions, such as Vanishing Ice: Alpine and Polar Landscapes in Art, 1775-2012 (which is subsequently touring the US and Canada), we have a rich history of providing our community with unique cultural and educational opportunities unavailable from any other local organization. These shows are interspersed and mingled with showings of our own significant collection of Northwest and Contemporary Art. Mission Statement: The Whatcom Museum provides innovative and interactive educational programs and exhibitions about art, nature, and Northwest history. We seek to stimulate curiosity about our changing cultural, natural, and historical landscapes, for the youngest to the oldest minds, and to inspire preservation of and creative contributions to our region and beyond.
