WHEDco
Davon Russell has an extensive work experience in various roles within the nonprofit sector. Davon began their career as the Director of Education and Youth Development Services at WHEDco in 1997 and held this position until 2006. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the Vice President for Programs at WHEDco. In 2010, Russell was promoted to the role of Executive Vice President at WHEDco, a position they held until April 2020. Currently, they are serving as the President of WHEDco since September 2017. In addition to their work at WHEDco, Russell also volunteered for The Bronx Community Relief Effort starting in April 2020.
Davon Russell obtained a Master's degree in Theater and Media from the University of Oregon, studying from 1986 to 1993.
