Steve Kang

Steve Kang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development, specializing in fleet management and global trading systems. Currently serving as a Software Engineer IV at Wheels, Inc., Steve Kang utilizes technologies such as Java Spring, SQL Server, and multithreading. Concurrently, as a Software Development Consultant at CME Group, expertise in Kafka and Hibernate contributes to the development of sophisticated trading systems. Previously, a Principal Staff Engineer at Motorola for over 16 years, Steve focused on order processing systems, automation tools, and software customization, while also leading a team on various projects. Early career experiences include designing communication protocol encoders/decoders at Catapult and developing cellular phone software features at Motorola. Steve holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University.
