Marcelo Abarca Moraga has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Starting in 2013, they served as an Orador EXPOTEC at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. In 2014, they joined ZEKE as an Ingeniero de Proyectos, where they worked on various tasks such as design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of interactive web applications using different technologies. Marcelo also gained experience in backend and frontend development, integration of RESTful APIs and external web services, and database management. In the same year, they also worked as a Professional Practice Programmer for the software ERP project - Comercial Matico, utilizing technologies such as Java EE, JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Visual Basic 6, Python, and Flex. From 2020 to 2021, Marcelo worked at Cell IT as an Ingeniero de Software, focusing on the implementation of Big Data solutions for different projects across various areas of the Falabella Group. Marcelo was responsible for programming use cases according to defined architecture, optimizing coding and programming tasks, and migrating and improving accounting processes from COBOL to Cloudera environment, integrating them with corporate systems. Currently, Marcelo holds the position of Full Stack Developer at wherEX, starting in April 2021.
Marcelo Abarca Moraga has an education history that includes two institutions. From 2011 to 2014, Marcelo attended Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, where they obtained a degree as a Técnico Universitario in Informática. Later, from 2017 to 2020, Marcelo pursued a degree in Ingeniería de Ejecución en Gestión Industrial at the same university, Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria.
