Mark Cole's work experience begins in 1998 as an Editorial Assistant at Sky Sports. In 1999, they moved to BBC Sport where they worked as a Lead Executive for Football until 2016. From 2016 to the present, they have worked at Whisper as the Managing Director and Head of Television.
Mark Cole attended Sir Bernard Lovell from 1990 to 1993, but did not pursue a degree or specify a field of study during this time. Mark then attended St Brendan's VI Form College from 1993 to 1995, where they focused on American Government and Politics (United States). Afterward, they enrolled at Bournemouth University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Multi Media Journalism, specifically in the field of Broadcast Journalism.
