Mr. Dunlop has over 30 years of domestic and international diversified engineering experience. Prior to joining Whitecap in 2009, he held positions at Wascana Energy, Santos, Genesis Exploration/Vintage Petroleum and two private start-up companies, Tiger Energy and Ridgeback Exploration. Mr. Dunlop has a Bachelor of Science (Industrial Engineering) degree from the University of Manitoba (1989) and began his professional career with Chevron Canada Resources. He is a member of APEGA (Professional Engineer designation) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
