Yan Van Nerum has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the fields of product ownership, management, and development. Currently, Yan works at WhiteWall Media GmbH as the Product Owner & Team Lead Website, where they are responsible for prioritizing, implementing, and ensuring the quality of features and optimizations in the WhiteWall online shop. Yan coordinates a team of developers, QA engineers, UX designers, and Content Managers, acting as a link between stakeholders and the development team. Prior to this, Yan worked at Redcare Pharmacy as a Product Owner and Product Manager, and also as a Senior UX & Conversion Manager. Before that, Yan held multiple roles at Pixum, including Project & Conversion Manager, Head of Business Development & CRM, Regional Manager for West & Southern Europe, and Country Manager for France. Earlier in their career, Yan worked as a Trademark Assistant at Linklaters.
Yan Van Nerum obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) degree in Marketing, Management & Controlling from Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1999, Yan attended Munich Municipal Foreign Languages Institute and completed a degree as a Foreign language correspondent and Translator. Yan also holds additional certifications such as Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner™ II (PSPO II) from Scrum.org, as well as UXQB® Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience – Foundation Level (CPUX-F) from UXQB – International Usability and User Experience Qualification Board e.V.
