Kate Sherburn has a strong background in legal work, with experience ranging from paralegal roles to senior legal counsel positions. Kate began their career as a paralegal at Schweppes Australia (formerly Cadbury Schweppes) in 2007. From there, they moved on to Norton Rose Fulbright in 2010, where they worked as an associate until 2017. Following their time at Norton Rose Fulbright, Sherburn served as a legal officer at Chisholm Institute from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Legal Beagle (Head of Legal) at Who Gives A Crap, where they started in July 2021. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Legal Counsel at Who Gives A Crap from 2019 to 2021.
Kate Sherburn completed their Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, which took place from 2003 to 2009. Kate then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law Australia in 2010.
