Phillip Perdue has extensive work experience in fundraising and development. Phillip has served as the Chief Development Officer at WHRO, where they managed a team responsible for fundraising activities and developed strategies. Phillip also worked as a Senior Development Officer at Bon Secours Hampton Roads Foundations, where they actively managed a portfolio of prospects and was responsible for strategic planning and staff management. Additionally, they held positions at Virginia Wesleyan College and Virginia Commonwealth University, where they served in various development roles. Phillip also has experience at the National MS Society, where they served as the National Director of MS Walk. In 2014, they transitioned into a role as an author and speaker. Overall, Phillip Perdue has a strong background in fundraising, strategic planning, and staff management.
Phillip Perdue earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Indiana University Bloomington. Phillip later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business, which they completed between 1995 and 1998. In 2003, they obtained a certification as a Certified Direct Marketer from the Interactive Marketing Institute. Additionally, in 2013, Phillip Perdue became a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
