Michael Sloan

Michael Sloan is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the beverage industry. Currently serving as CFO at Whyte & Mackay since March 2015, Michael leads the Finance, IS, and Legal functions within a diverse business environment. Previously, Michael held the position of Group Head of Commercial Finance at A.G.Barr plc, managing marketing investments and retailer promotions, and served as Finance Director at Tennent Caledonian Breweries, driving cultural change through strategic investment. Earlier experience includes roles at C&C Group plc, Damovo, and Scottish and Newcastle plc, where Michael developed expertise in treasury, financial planning, and commercial finance across multiple international markets. Michael's educational background includes a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland and an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
