Alan Yu

Alan Yu is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Innovations Reporter at WHYY since February 2017. Previously, Alan held roles including Teaching Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Reporter at the South China Morning Post, and Kroc Fellow at NPR. Alan also completed internships at Chicago Public Media, Northwestern University, National Public Radio, and Psychology Today, among others. Alan obtained a Master of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, following an International Baccalaureate at Li Po Chun United World College and secondary education at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong.
