Andrea Gibbs, MBA, is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in production and planning. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Production & Planning at WHYY since April 2012, Andrea has also contributed as a Special Projects Producer, leading community engagement initiatives culminating in live political debates. Freelance producer roles at Comcast Local Media Development have included notable assignments, such as interviewing key figures for a commemorative project on the March on Washington. Andrea's background includes positions as Associate Producer at FOX29, Producer at tvOne, Executive Producer at CN8, and Producer at WFSB-TV, where foundational skills were developed and significant projects were led. Andrea holds an MBA in Executive Leadership from Wesley College and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University.
