Aretha Veal

Aretha Veal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social services and community engagement. Currently serving as the Louisiana Area Manager at Wider Circle since 2022, Aretha previously held the position of Family Engagement Manager at the Baton Rouge Alliance for Students from April 2021 to January 2023. Aretha's expertise includes roles such as Social Services Coordinator at The Harmony Center and Day Program Director at HealthCare. Additionally, Aretha worked as a Family Resource Worker at AJFC Community Action Agency from January 2010 to August 2020. Aretha holds two Master's degrees from Alcorn State University, one in Adult and Continuing Education Administration and another in Workforce Development and Training.
