Wilbur-Ellis
Jeanne Forbis is vice president of corporate communications for Wilbur-Ellis. She is responsible for the Company’s internal and external communications, including utilizing communications to support the Company’s purpose and One Wilbur-Ellis strategy.
Forbis joined Wilbur-Ellis in 2019 and brings over 30 years of experience to the Company. She has held communications leadership positions in the agriculture, chemical, energy and healthcare industries, including roles at Land O’Lakes, Chevron, Conoco, Linde, and Medtronic. Before moving into corporate communications, Forbis served as a reporter and editor in the newspaper business.
Forbis holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in management from the University of Maryland, as well as a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Oklahoma State University. Jeanne is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, an academic honor society, and the Arthur W. Page Society, a professional organization for communications leaders.
Jeanne lives in San Francisco, California, with her husband, David.

Founded as a fish-oil supplier in 1921 by Brayton Wilbur, Sr. and Floyd Ellis, this company markets and distributes agricultural and industrial products, animal feed, seeds, fertilizer and machinery. Wilbur-Ellis also provides consulting, pesticide management and other agriculture-related services. Through its Connell Brothers division, it markets and distributes industrial chemicals, minerals and food ingredients in the Pacific Rim. Brayton Wilbur's family continues to own the company.
