Simon Denyer is an accomplished journalist and program manager with extensive experience in international reporting and media education. Currently serving as the Africa Program Manager at WildAid since October 2021, Denyer previously held key positions at The Washington Post, including Bureau Chief for Japan and the Koreas, China, and India, where coverage included significant political events and international relations. Earlier roles involved leading Reuters' bureaus in challenging regions such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India, enhancing the organization's global reputation. Denyer has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Sophia University and Hosei University, focusing on the intersection of media and politics. An alumnus of Trinity College, Cambridge, Denyer holds an M.A. in Economics.
