Sebastian Cortes

Sebastian Cortes has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Sebastian began as a Research & Development Intern at Knowledge Support Systems Group in 2007. From 2009 to 2012, Sebastian worked at Sodexo do Brasil Serviço e Comércio as a Group Internal Auditor, overseeing internal audit teams in multiple countries and conducting audits in various areas such as finance, operations, and HR. Sebastian then became a Controller, responsible for budget coordination, financial analysis, and supporting key initiatives to improve financial processes. In 2015, Sebastian joined Wildlife Studios as the Finance Director, where they managed the finance, legal, and payroll teams, overseeing processes such as accounting, reporting, and payroll management.

Sebastian Cortes completed an Engineering Master degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics at École Polytechnique from 2005-2007. Sebastian then pursued a Master in International Economics (Mention Bien) with a focus on Business, Strategy & IT consulting at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2008-2009. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Industrial and Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which they completed from 2001-2008.
