Steven Richardson is a seasoned attorney with over 20 years of experience in various prominent legal and governmental roles. Currently, Steven serves as a Partner at Wiley Rein LLP since May 2013, following a tenure as a Member and Partner at Van Ness Feldman from 2000 to 2013. Prior to this, Steven held the position of Chief of Staff for Reclamation at the US Department of the Interior from 1995 to 2000 and worked as General Counsel and Counsel at The Wilderness Society between 1985 and 1989. Early in Steven's career, significant responsibilities included serving as Staff Director and Counsel for the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations from 1981 to 1985. Steven holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Kennedy School, completed in 1998.
