Susan Simon Daniels

Susan Simon Daniels is a seasoned professional in user experience research and design, currently serving as a Senior Staff Product Researcher at Shopify since August 2022 and as Contract Teaching Faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University since January 2022, where Susan instructs courses in User Experience Design. Previous roles include Director of UX Research at Oracle NetSuite, along with an extensive tenure at Oracle where Susan held various positions including Senior Manager and Principal User Experience Researcher. With a strong foundation in user-centered design, Susan’s career spans significant contributions at notable companies such as NetSuite, Intel Security, BlackBerry, Quarry Integrated Communications, Sun Life Financial of Canada, and OpenText. Susan holds an MA in Language and Professional Writing and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English from the University of Waterloo.
