Kim Tilgaard is an experienced leader in technology and software development, currently serving as the Vice President of R&D at Demant since January 2019, responsible for innovation and software development in hearing instrument solutions. Previously, Kim held the position of Senior Director at Oticon, overseeing the R&D function for software across all Demant brands. With a substantial background at Microsoft as Director of Program Management and Product Unit Manager, Kim contributed to globally recognized software products and managed diverse software initiatives. Additional experience includes leadership roles at TDC, NKT Cables, and Motorola, highlighting a strong history in project management and product development in telecommunications and supply chain management. Kim's educational credentials include a PhD in Systems Engineering from DTU, an M.Sc. E.E. from Aalborg University, and additional studies at Copenhagen Business School.
