Kathleen de Castro

Kathleen De Castro is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in various healthcare settings, currently serving at William Osler Health System since August 2012. In the Nurse Practitioner Led Outreach Team, Kathleen played a key role in providing medical leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, assessing and treating affected residents while facilitating critical communication with families and healthcare leadership. Kathleen has expertise in geriatrics, having supported acute care programs and managed complex inpatient cases at Brampton Civic Hospital. Kathleen's previous roles also include working as a Public Health Nurse during the pandemic, overseeing vaccination clinics, and serving as a Clinical Supervisor for nursing students. Kathleen holds a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner from D'Youville University and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from York University.
