Parneet Cheema

Parneet Cheema is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in oncology and academic medicine. Currently serving as the Medical Director of Oncology and Head of Cancer Research at William Osler Health System since February 2017, Cheema also holds the position of Medical Oncologist and Corporate Division Head for Medical Oncology and Hematology. Additionally, as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine since 2017, Cheema contributes to medical education. Prior experience includes a role as a Medical Oncologist at Sunnybrook from 2011 to 2017. Cheema's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Calgary, an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary, and advanced degrees in Internal Medicine (FRCPC), Biotechnology, and Healthcare Leadership from the University of Toronto.
