William Penn Charter School
Emma Cohen Westbrooke serves as the Chair of Health, Wellness, and Sexuality Department and Health, Wellness, and Sexuality Educator at William Penn Charter School since July 2021. Previously, Emma was a Special Assistant to the CEO and Special Projects Manager at the Philadelphia Education Fund, where contributions were made to organizational decisions and strategy. Emma's extensive experience includes roles as Director of Education at Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes, where oversight of a team focused on adolescent pregnancy prevention and LGBTQ outreach occurred, as well as experience in teaching and facilitating educational programs across various organizations. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ithaca College.

Guided by Quaker testimonies, Penn Charter is a coeducational, pre-kindergarten through grade 12, college preparatory school committed to enlivening the spirit, training the mind, cultivating the aesthetic, and developing the body.
