Sarah Patterson Sonnenberg is a seasoned professional in government relations, currently serving as the Director of Government Relations at Williams Mullen since June 2018, where Sarah previously held the position of Government Relations Manager. Prior to this role, Sarah was a Government Affairs Lobbyist at South Carolina REALTORS® from February 2014 to May 2018 and worked as a Political and Legislative Affairs Assistant at the Food Marketing Institute between September 2010 and August 2013. Early career experiences include an internship at the United States Senate in January 2010 and internships at Chernoff Newman and Columbia Metropolitan Magazine during the summer of 2009. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a concentration in History, Art History, and English, along with a Minor in Government from Wofford College in 2010 and is currently a Fellow at the NC Institute of Political Leadership since 2023.
