Rick Jones

Rick Jones has over 40 years of experience in software engineering and development, currently serving as the Development Team Lead at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. since March 2017, focusing on the product finding domain for e-commerce sites. Prior to this role, Rick held positions including Senior Software Engineer at Williams-Sonoma, Principal Software Engineer at Egenera, and project lead at Digital Lightwave, Inc., showcasing expertise in backend development using Spring Boot, Java Swing, and server-side API creation. Rick’s early career included significant contributions to Digital Equipment Corporation and Simplex Time Recorder, where foundational skills in embedded software and driver design were established. Rick earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport.
