Lara Olson

Lara Olson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in both nonprofit and tax sectors. Since November 2015, Lara has served as the Director of Finance at Willow Creek Community Church, where responsibilities include managing the church budget and overseeing the Accounting and IT departments, with a focus on fostering sacrificial generosity within the congregation. Prior to this role, Lara worked at Plante Moran from August 2011 to November 2015 as a Tax In-Charge, specializing in tax return reviews across various industries, particularly in M&D and service sectors, while also conducting research on current tax laws. Lara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Spanish, and International Business from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, complemented by an educational experience at the University of Buenos Aires and a diploma from William Fremd High School.
