Andrew Chang

Andrew Chang is a Patent Agent and Scientific Advisor at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, specializing in patent preparation and prosecution, as well as analyses concerning patentability and freedom-to-operate in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors since September 2014. Prior to this, Andrew completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Stanford University, focusing on synthetic RNA switches for cellular control from September 2008 to August 2014. As a founding member of the PhD Leadership Team at Stanford Alumni Mentoring, Andrew helped establish a mentoring program for PhD students from August 2012 to July 2014. Additional experience includes coordinating teaching assistant training at Stanford University and serving as a teaching assistant across multiple disciplines. Andrew also contributed to research at Harvard University, developing iron complexes for chemical reactions.
