WIMOs (Women in Maritime Operations) is dedicated to educating, engaging, and elevating women who are actively employed in the maritime industry. Industry employment could include, but may not be limited to, individuals that own, operate, charter, dispatch or provide other types of logistical, safety and emergency management services on the water. 

The organization’s membership currently includes 900+ individuals who work for 250+ different companies. 

WIMOs has 12 chapters and "seed" chapters.

Ohio Valley (Pittsburgh, PA to Louisville, KY)
West Kentucky (greater Paducah, KY area)
Southern Louisiana (greater New Orleans, LA area)
Houston (Port Arthur, TX to Port Lavaca, TX)
Coastal Bend (Port Lavaca, TX to Port of Brownsville, TX)

Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR to Seattle, WA)
Mobile Gulf Coast (Mississippi to Northwest Florida)
Jacksonville, FL (Greater Florida )
Hampton Roads/Norfolk (Greater Chesapeake Bay)
Northeast (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, NJ, NY, and CT)
Maritime Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island)
