Jule Johnston

Jule Johnston is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as General Counsel at WTEC Energy since January 2025, Jule previously held the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at KORE Power, where responsibilities included establishing the in-house legal framework for a leading clean energy battery cell developer from November 2022 to December 2024. Jule's prior roles include Assistant General Counsel at FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, managing legal matters for the Americas region from December 2011 to November 2022, and Assistant General Counsel at Van Wagner Communications, where commercial contract negotiations were key from January 2010 to August 2010. Early career experience includes serving as Senior Associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and Corporate Associate at K&L Gates. Jule holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
