John Dean is a co-founder and CEO at WindBorne Systems, where John leads a team of former SpaceX engineers in developing a world-record-breaking balloon system for improved weather prediction. Prior to WindBorne, John gained experience as an Autonomous Driving Intern at Lyft, Co-President at Stanford Student Space Initiative, Hardware Development Intern at SpaceX, Engineering Intern at NASA Ames Research Center, and Visiting Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
