Jim Thelen is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in motor design and electromagnetic systems. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Windings, Inc. since January 2019, Jim previously held positions as a Motor Design Engineer at SL-MTI and a Motor Designer/CAD Designer at Dynetic Systems Inc., where expertise in PM Brushed, BLDC, and AC induction motors was developed. Earlier in the career, Jim owned and operated Jim Thelen Wood Engraving, focusing on CNC routing products, and worked at Electrosonic Systems in various roles, including Purchasing Manager, with a background in project management and quality control. Jim's early experience as a Sound Engineer provided valuable skills in equipment management for live performances.
